Face Rating Test measures geometry. It does not rate your attractiveness.
What the results are
- A score is a calculation on one photo: distances and angles between points on your face, compared with fixed reference values. The same photo always gives the same number, and a different photo can give a different one.
- The reference values, such as the face length to width range or the golden ratio, are popular rules of thumb. They are not a scientific standard of beauty.
- The face model places points by estimate and can be wrong, especially with shadows, glasses, hair across the face, filters or a tilted or turned head.
What the results are not
- Not a judgement of attractiveness, beauty, health, age, identity or worth. Attractiveness depends on many things this tool does not and cannot measure.
- Not medical, psychological, dental, surgical or cosmetic advice. Do not use a result to decide on treatment or a procedure.
- Not suitable for judging yourself or another person. Please do not use it to rank, rate or compare people.
If this affects how you feel
If a number from a tool like this leaves you feeling low or anxious about your appearance, please stop using it and talk with someone you trust or a qualified health professional.
