Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Face Rating Test at face-rating-test.pages.dev (the "Service"), run by an independent developer ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What the Service does

You choose or take a photo. Software running in your browser measures distances and angles between points on your face and shows scores for symmetry, proportions and jawline. The photo is processed on your device and is not uploaded to us (see our Privacy Policy). The Service does not edit, change or generate images of you.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old. You confirm this before you choose a photo. If you are under 18, do not use the Service.

3. Your photos

  • Only use photos of yourself. Do not use a photo of another person without their permission.
  • Never use photos of children.
  • You keep all rights to your photos. Because photos never leave your device, we receive no copy and no licence to them.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass, bully, rate or shame another person;
  • use the results to judge, rank or make decisions about other people, such as hiring, dating or admissions;
  • use the Service to infer sensitive traits about anyone, such as race, health or identity;
  • interfere with the Service, overload it or try to get around its security;
  • scrape, copy or resell the Service or its content in bulk.

5. Results are measurements, not advice

Scores are geometric measurements of one photo against fixed rules. They are not a judgement of attractiveness, health, worth or any other quality, and they are not medical, psychological or professional advice. A different photo gives a different result. See our Disclaimer.

6. Paid features

No paid features are available, and we do not collect payment or payment details. A price shown next to a "coming soon" item is tentative and is not an offer to sell. If we start selling anything, we will publish the price, what you get and a refund policy before you can buy, and update these terms.

7. Our content

The text, design and code of the website belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Third-party software and services

The Service uses third-party components, including Google's MediaPipe (open-source software that runs in your browser), Google Analytics and Cloudflare hosting. Their use is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party sites we link to.

9. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or stop the Service or any part of it at any time. We may update these terms, and the date above shows the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. No warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DISTRESS, DECISION OR LOSS RELATED TO A RESULT YOU RECEIVE. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
